Christine has worked in the NHS for 13 years and is currently the Director of Informatics for a Shared Service looking after a large number of GPs, Community staff, Mental Health, Commissioners and Acute Hospitals. Looking after a Shared Service and managing a budget for so many organisations brings very different challenges and opportunities from managing an Informatics department in a single organisation.

She is very passionate about what she does and she has a successful track record of delivering IT technology solutions at a pace. She also has a wholehearted commitment to improving her local health and care system by the innovative use of technology and by working collaboratively with others.

Finally, she also has an active role in the North West IT Professional Development Network and has helped to organise their annual two day conference for the last few years. This involves working closely with CIO, CCIO and CNIO colleagues on the development of the informatics profession within their organisations.
