I am the CCIO at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital and have worked in clinical informatics for 20 years at both local and national levels.I believe that digital projects must always be driven by the priorities of both patients and clinicians, and I advocate for national data & UI standards, to support safe practice, recently illustrated by my lead role developing the beta standard for the National electronic Paediatric Early Warning Score.
