The Global Digital Exemplar (GDE) programme was the flagship English NHS digitisation initiative providing £385m of funding between 26 relatively digitally mature trusts to become world leaders. GDE has now been replaced by the Digital Aspirant programme, but did it work? The team behind the official GDE evaluation will share their key findings on the core lessons to be carried forward from the blue-ribbon initiative.
