Dr Tim Ferris, director of Digital Transformation NHS England and NHS Improvement has been confirmed at Summer Schools 2022, the event dedicated to connecting NHS IT leaders, back in-person 14-15 July, University of York.
Tim will join a plenary Shuri Network panel session on digital transformation, inclusion and ICSs.
He will share his vision for the NHS and the collective delivery of changes needed to support recovery and his role as the national NHS BAME Network exec sponsor.
The NHS leaders joining Tim on the panel include:

- Trish Hughes, Deputy Director of Nursing and AHP Workforce – North West, NHS England and NHS Improvement
- Shera Chok, Chair, The Shuri Network
The Shuri Network launched at Summer Schools 2019, and has since gone from strength to strength, supporting many women from BAME backgrounds in developing their careers in health IT, through shadowing, fellowships, bursaries and a vibrant network. Summer Schools is a unique two-day residential educational and networking event dedicated to local NHS IT leaders, including CCIOs, CIOs, CNIOs and future digital leaders.
