Two blockbuster AI speakers announced for Summer Schools
Two new blockbuster speakers join Summer Schools to support digital leaders embedding AI ethically in healthcare.
Dr. Jessica Morley is a former tech advisor for the UK government who has contributed to the development of policies and frameworks for the ethical use of data-driven technologies.
Her profile continues to soar as a leading voice on digital ethics in healthcare. She will cut through the AI hype in her afternoon day one keynote exploring how AI can be used to support NHS values.
Morley told audiences at Rewired 2025 that the NHS should identify the reasons why it is failing to meet its constitutional pledge to be for “everyone” and then use AI to address these issues. She also argued that the NHS is ‘missing opportunity to leverage AI’ by not focusing on population goals.
Dr Joe Zhang is an NHS doctor, former data scientist and published researcher who is influencing the application of AI into UK healthcare. He currently leads the implementation of data and AI technologies across the OneLondon ecosystem.
The pair will deliver what will be a hugely popular workshop on making AI work in practice: the practicalities, pitfalls, and ethical considerations.
