Two national keynotes complete Summer Schools speaker line-up

Two national keynotes have been added to the Summer Schools conference programme, which has today been published in full. 

Summer Schools is a residential two-day education and networking event dedicated to current and aspiring digital health leaders, taking place on 17-18 July 2025 at the University of Warwick.   

Dermot Ryan, the director of digital transformation at NHS England is the latest Summer Schools keynote speaker. He leads the NHS’ efforts in accelerating the adoption of digital technologies such as electronic patient records. Join him on day two to hear about the next steps for frontline digitisation.  

Dr Wajid Hussain is the CMIO for NHS England and CCIO for Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals. He will take part in the day two tilt to digital keynote session with national CNIO Helen Balsdon where he will address the latest developments in clinical safety, digital literacy and patient portals. session
