Gordon Bigham
Chief Allied Health Professional (AHP) NHS England – Midlands
Gordon is a qualified Physiotherapist and has worked in the NHS for over 19 years. He has a wealth of clinical, operational and leadership experience and has worked across a wide variety of sectors including primary, acute and tertiary care and arm’s length bodies.
Gordon is the Regional Chief AHP for NHS England in the Midlands having taken on the role to support the regional AHP response to the covid 19 pandemic. Gordon has strategic oversight of the regional AHP agenda and the delivery of the AHP Strategy – AHPs deliver in the Midlands. He is passionate about developing leadership capability in others, especially across the AHP professions. Gordon sponsors the Midlands AHP Informatics & Digital Network and is keen to ensure AHPs across the region are at the forefront of the future digital agenda. He is keen to see more AHPs develop in CCIO roles, working alongside their multi-professional colleagues.
Pippa McCabe
Chief AHP Information Officer – South Eastern HSCT
Pippa McCabe is the Chief AHP Information Officer in the South Eastern Health and Social Trust. One of 6 integrated health and social care Trusts in Northern Ireland that are currently implementing Epic in a sequential roll-out across the whole country. Pippa is a physiotherapist by profession.

I am the Lead Digital Pharmacist & Clinical Lead for Automation at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. Both of these roles allow me to pursue my passion for safe digital transformation and remain at the forefront of providing patient care. I have a strong background in working with and range of Digital Pharmacy Systems, and in utilising RPA Automation for organisational benefits.

I am the CCIO at NWAS, with responsibility for Clinical Records and EPR, Information Governance, and our Directory of Service (DoS) Teams.
My background is as a hospital based clinical pharmacist; however, I’ve always had a passion for digital technology. I started working in a digital role as the Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration lead at Bolton, I then gained a place on the NHS Digital Academy and have continued to progress within digital since.
Rahul Singal
Chief Pharmacy & Medicines Information Officer – NHS England
Rahul is currently the Associate CCIO for Medicines at NHSE, where he holds SRO accountability for the Digital and Interoperable Medicines Programme. As the designated Chief Pharmaceutical Officer lead for any national digital improvement programmes, Rahul holds the responsibility for any specific medicines related work and will also provide professional leadership for the pharmacy informatics workforce and related workforce development.
Rahul has held several leadership positions across NHS organisations and ALBs, most recently he was the Chief Pharmacist at NELFT. He has been involved in digital projects that include the deployment of; hospital-based medicines automation, EPMA, EPS2, E-Job Planning and working with partners to define pharmacy and medicines related performance metrics. Rahul is also Health Foundation Generation Q Fellow.

Allied Health Information Officer – Great Ormond Street Hospital
Ali is an Allied Health Professions Information Officer at Great Ormond Street Children’ s Hospital working across a wide range of digital transformation programmes and leading on the digital implementation plan for AHPs. Prior to this Ali worked as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist leading the community health and adaptions service at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust. It is here that Ali’s interest in values-based leadership alongside reflections on personal experiences as a patient and clinician began to shape her thinking and career path within digital health.

Euan qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2007 and has been involved in digital since 2012. Across many roles in his career, he has improved informatics knowledge and skills in the physiotherapy profession and driven informatics inclusion in policy and strategy. He is Health informatics Lead at the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, Clinical Lead for Physiotherapy at ORCHA and a Fellow of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics.
