Gary Mooney

Gary completed undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from schools of computer science, management and medicine. This included international research programmes and establishing a software development team producing solutions for eLearning, clinical simulation, and software solutions for the pharmaceutical sector. He then moved to work for the UK Department of Health, first on secondment and then full-time, to write strategy and manage a digital and research team delivering policy initiatives for the Our Healthier Nation White Paper.

For the last 20 years Gary has worked for clinical and EPR solution providers in various senior management roles relating to operational delivery, product management, consulting, and sales. During this time, he worked across the UK and international territories with considerable focus upon market entry and growth strategy for organisations and products new to the UK and Republic of Ireland. He also developed deep experience in the medicines management domain which is a theme stemming back to my post-graduate research.

Gary joined InterSystems in Dec 2013 working for the Global Product Team as a Solution Architect with a focus for Medication Management and Pharmacy. Whilst based in the UK, he has supported international colleagues and customers, notably in Italy and the Republic of Ireland.
