Ian Bailey is a Registered District Nurse and Chief Clinical Information Officer at Optum, with over 25 years’ experience. He’s played a pivotal role in shaping the clinical design of Optum’s solutions and now leads a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and informaticians spanning clinical safety, system design and decision support. His focus is clear: to ensure technology actively enables clinical practice and delivers meaningful improvements for both clinicians and the patients they serve.
