Clive Flashman

Clive Flashman is an accomplished digital health strategist and innovation leader, has a portfolio of roles including his own consulting practice, Director of Strategy at ORCHA, and Chief Digital Officer at a mental health startup called Shoorah. At Patient Safety Learning, he brings deep expertise in digital transformation, patient safety, and health tech policy together for clients and members. He is also co-founder of Bidshaper, supporting innovators in health and care to secure grant funding . In the past he designed a national critical reporting tool for the NHS (the National Reporting & Learning System), chaired a global HL7 Special Interest Group, and served on the NHS Information Standards Board. He is a past President of the Digital Health Council of the Royal Society of Medicine, and currently mentors on NHS England’s Clinical Entrepreneur Programme and TheHill’s market access accelerator programme at Oxford University Hospitals NHS FT. He is a Trustee of The Picker Institute and a non-executive director of SEHTA (a membership group of 1,500 digital health SMEs).
