Workshop – Building digital capability across your organisation: lessons from designing a practical capability-building digital leadership programme

Delivering digital transformation requires more than implementing technology, it requires building a workforce that feels confident contributing to, shaping and leading change.
This workshop explores the development and delivery of the Digital Impact Fellowship: a practical capability-building programme designed to move beyond traditional system training and support staff to develop the skills, confidence and networks needed to engage in and lead digital transformation.
Through reflections on how the programme was conceived, designed and delivered, attendees will explore the enablers, challenges and lessons learned in creating a scalable approach to workforce development. The session will share participant outcomes, practical examples and key considerations for implementation.
Attendees will leave with a transferable framework and practical actions to help develop Digital Fellows and strengthen digital capability within their own organisations.
Digital Fellows are people who understand and define problems, engage users, codesign solutions, influence change and help translate digital opportunities into meaningful service improvement.
