Are “Agents” the new “People” – is AI going to take your job?
This session will look at the roles of various staffing groups in health and social care, how these roles combine to form functions such as Out-Patients and discuss the degree to which AI can support staff and patients in the delivery of more productive services. Specifically, we will be looking at the use of AI to support knowledge workers, such as policy and strategy staff, and how agents are transforming operational roles. The session will consider enablers and barriers to effective adoption of AI, starting with the patient and staff need and working back to determine what they need AI for. The session will be non-technical and will not be about products. It will be about doing more with what you have and putting the AI in your loop, rather than a human in the AI loop!
