Skills bootcamp: deploying TEPIGCOIL for system-wide delivery assurance
Delivering large-scale digital transformation requires more than vision, leadership and stakeholder engagement. Success depends on ensuring every aspect of a programme is aligned, from workforce readiness and clinical adoption to governance, infrastructure and operational delivery. Yet many transformation programmes encounter challenges because critical dependencies are overlooked or considered in isolation.
This practical workshop will introduce the TEPIGCOIL Capability Framework, an adaptation of the military TEPIDOIL planning model, designed to help digital leaders take a structured approach to system-wide delivery assurance. Attendees will learn how to apply the framework across nine key domains – Training, Equipment, Personnel, Information, Governance, Clinical, Organisation, Infrastructure and Logistics – to strengthen business cases, develop robust terms of reference and identify risks before they become problems. Participants will leave with a practical toolkit they can apply immediately to improve planning, assurance and delivery of complex transformation programmes.
