From innovation to impact: successful digital transformation at scale

Digital transformation is no longer about isolated innovation projects – the challenge for NHS leaders in 2026 is delivering measurable impact at scale. In this plenary session, system leaders will explore what successful transformation looks like across organisations, regions and care pathways, and how data, intelligence and emerging technologies can be used to drive better outcomes, productivity and population health.

Drawing on experiences from large-scale transformation programmes, secure data environments, and operational leadership, speakers will discuss the leadership, culture, governance and collaboration needed to move from experimentation to sustainable change – and how NHS organisations can turn insight into action in an increasingly complex health and care landscape.
