Marlene is a doctor from Argentina who moved to Wales in 2021 and started a career in digital working in Patient Safety at DHCW. In trying to understand the issues that prevent information being shared, she has trained to become a data modeller and develop standards, focusing on openEHR specifications. Her focus is on developing the foundational data standards and associated implementation guidelines for the Shared Care Record in Wales. She has completed an MSc in Digital transformation by the UWTSD and is also working as a junior doctor in the UK.
