Salma Yasmeen

Salma Yasmeen is Chief Executive of Sheffield Health Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, a role she has held since July 2023. A mental health nurse by background, she is a values-driven leader committed to improving lives, tackling inequality and transforming health and care.
She has held senior leadership roles across the UK and internationally, including Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Strategy and Change at South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and executive roles in the Middle East. Earlier in her career, she was Chief Executive of a pioneering voluntary and community sector organisation that grew from a pilot project into a nationally recognised model.
Salma chairs the NHS Confederation Health and Care Women Leaders Network and is a Board member of Thirteen Housing Group.
