Digital Nursing & Midwifery bursary programme

The Digital Nursing & Midwifery bursary programme has been created to help identify, promote and support future digital nursing and midwifery leaders and future talent in the UK health informatics and digital health sector.

The cohort of bursary holders will form the nucleus of a new future digital nursing and midwifery community.

The programme is open to nurses and midwives UK-wide and will include:

  • A place at the Digital Health Networks Summer Schools, which includes two-day access to the event, accommodation and a gala awards dinner.
  • A reception on the evening of 13 July (Summer School pre-event)
  • Dedicated sessions at the Summer School 14-15 July
  • A mentoring programme matching current nursing and midwifery digital leaders to future digital leaders

The application process will be open until Friday 27 May, 11:59pm and is open to both those nominating themselves and those nominating others.

Entry Criteria

  • Applicants must be working in the UK
  • Applications must be made for persons who are registered nursing and midwifery professionals
  • Applicants must not have previously attended an in-person Summer Schools
  • Applicants will be required to attend dedicated sessions at the Summer School

How will the bursary be applied?
On receiving news that you have been successful for a bursary, you will be provided additional information including how the bursary will be applied for you to obtain an FOC ticket for Digital Health Summer Schools.

When will I be notified of the decision?
You will be notified of the outcome of the bursary application w/c 20th June 2022.
